On a whim, I recently purchased a secondhand book of an auction site, and it has been a pleasant surprise. Page after page of these excellent examples for many periods I know nothing about but have figures for.

Excellent purchase, Paul. I have had my copy these last 40 years or so... Bought on a visit to what I was told was the best bookshop in New Zealand at the time, which happened to be in Palmerston North. Why we happened to be in Palmerston North I don't recall exactly. It might have had something to do with the Springbok rugby tour of this country in 1981.
Yes I have this book too - bought twenty plus years ago at a "remaindered" book store in Auckland
This looks like a great addition to your reference library.
I have had this book for 30+ years, again I picked mine up in a 2nd hand bookshop. It is a very useful tome, I love the style of colour pictures.
